Just a little reminder, as always, we will be closing a little earlier, at 5pm this bank holiday Monday (31st August).

We will still be open from 7am, with newspapers, breakfast buns, pies and all your essentials.

No Papers today (Sunday 16th Aug)

Due to the accident around Reaks level this morning, the Millom and Haverigg delivery driver was turned back by the police, being told it would be closed for several hours.

(yes, it was then re-opened an hour later 🤷🏻‍♂️)

Here at Haverigg Shop, we always try to support local causes as best we can. At the moment we have 2 events you can support -

First, we have raffle tickets available on behalf of St Lukes Church table top sale which take place this Saturday 8th August, with proceeds going towards the upkeep and improvement of the church. These are £1 a strip.

We also have a sheet for the Harbour charity Duck race, which takes place on Saturday 22nd August in aid of British Heart Foundation and C.R.Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young). These are £1 per duck.

Feel free to pop in and support these local charity events

Your FREE to use cash machine has now been installed within our shop.

Until it is filled early next week, it will only be available for balance checks and card services. We will update everyone once fully up and running.

Couple of grumbles we've already had this morning, so heres our answers...
"why have you moved the papers?"

Because that's where the new Cash machine is going 🤷🏻‍♂️

"why can't you put it outside?"

Because your not insuring it, and it would take up too much floor space inside the shop for that type of machine.

We hope this service is appreciated and supported by everyone, as its for your benefit 😊 and as we all know, Haverigg loves cash
