To all our loyal customers and those who know us:
Lawrence and I have decided to take a break from our working life and we have handed over New Lam Wah to a new family.
17 years in Hawick, we have met many interesting people here, had lots of intensely busy moments and lots of great memories, which forms a very important part of our life. We are proud we have been serving people in Hawick and surroundings for so long. We are proud to have passionately continued Joseph’s legacy and looked after the business he passed onto us with much love and care. From the bottom of our hearts, we have always felt so thankful to all our customers, to our delivery drivers and to the people who have helped us along the way. Without you there would not be us today. Thank you 🙏
Now, we have both reached middle age, our children are more independent, our parents in China are growing old. We have decided to shift our focus more to other perspectives in life. The decision does not come easy but we are finally ready to move onto the next chapter in our lives.
Thank you again to all our customers. I am sure the new owner will continue to provide excellent food and service.
