We get about 10 messages a day asking if we’re open 🫣

As summer rolls in, our opening hours will increase, and we’ll be open for the bank holidays and half terms as usual…all weather permitting, of course ☀️🌦️

Running a dessert shack might look like something you can open up on a whim, but there’s actually a lot more going on behind the scenes than meets the eye! We’re busy prepping, stocking, maintaining and getting everything just right so we can give you the best experience possible when the shutters are up.

And any man and his dog with a soft serve machine will tell you that those bad boys are proper high maintenance 😩😜

Our Burnt Cream doughnuts are made, filled and branded 😜 by us, fresh every single day.

The creamy-custardy-creme patisserie filling alone has taken months to perfect…zoom in close enough you’ll spot those little black vanilla seeds running through it 🤤👌

And the top?

That’s not just for show.

The team in the shack literally burn the cream with a hot iron by hand

If you’re lucky enough to be stood nearby when a fresh batch lands, you’ll probably catch a face full of sweet caramel smoke drifting through the queue 🔥🍩

We’ve spent the last couple of years planning this doughnut range, sourcing the equipment, testing recipes and obsessing over every detail… because we wanted them to be right.

They’re made in small fresh daily batches, and lately they’ve been selling out every day.

So if a Burnt Cream D is on your list, get down early to avoid disappointment doughnut luvvaaaaas!
