Hidden Spring Vineyard Hidden Spring is a boutique vineyard and winery located in the heart of East Sussex.

We produce the finest, award-winning still, and English sparkling wines entirely on-site from 25,000 vines across 13 acres. Hidden Spring was born from a lightbulb moment whilst enjoying a glass of Pinot Noir in a bar in New Zealand's Martinborough after a visit to the Coney winery nearby.⁠

Originally established in 1986 as half an orchard and half a vineyard that experienced many years of succe

ssful, high-quality wine production, it was then converted into a campsite in the mid-2000s.⁠

In 2015 after searching around for the perfect location to start our own vineyard we took over the small hold, expanding the former vineyard and removing the remains of the campsite. We planted 25,000 vines across 13 acres including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Bacchus, Pinot Gris, and Cabernet Noir.⁠

It was always part of our vision to try to recreate the hospitality we received from the vineyards in New Zealand and make sure everyone leaves us with a smile on their face. We hope to get everyone to know, love, and drink English wines and to celebrate and enjoy our wines with friends and family.⁠

We even challenge visitors to open their favourite of our English sparkling's the Hidden Spring way, by Sabrage ⚔️.⁠
