Welcome to the Bank Holiday. The weather looks nice but not nice enough to paddle in poo at the seaside so why not come to sunny Hedgerley?
The good news is the White Horse Beer Festival started last night and runs until Monday but the great news is it's just one more sleep until the Hedgerley Food Fair.
More than a dozen local businesses, bakers and makers will be at The Memorial Hall on Kiln Lane - The Black Cat Cafe making teas and coffees, the old Nazma with samosas, bhajis and kebabs, Portman Farm with their lamb, beef boxes and pies, Wabisabi Japanese Kitchen, Sam's Jams, Fudgelicious, Nicola the Pickler, The Marlow Cheese Co, Candyhouse Sweets, cakes and brownies from Jade and Danni, Cathy's chimichurri sauce and loads of gins, vodkas and ciders from the Boutique Drinks Company.
Doors open at 10.00 and close at 4.00. Entry is completely free, as is parking, both at the hall and in the White Horse field. Just bring bags and cash.
See you there.
