This wee robin flew into our window and gave himself a good daze. A little R+R and lots of mealworms later and he was right as rain 💚 what a cutie.

Not sure when bird watching crept up on me, but there's literally nothing better than watching the birds at the feeders with a coffee these days!

I think as I've gotten older I've slowed down and appreciate my place in nature much more, I'm sure it's the same for most of us?

In this case it was the chicken before the egg 😉

The chick our broody hen hatched out mid November has laid her 1st egg today 🤩 almost 5 months to the day!

They lay these tiny 'fairy eggs' to begin with until their hormones level out. Very cute, and taste just the same as a normal egg.

Dog walk turned toad spawn rescue mission! Watch until the end to see wee Ralph 💕

There's so much water up there, why they decided to spawn in a puddle on the path is anyone's guess 😅

I'm finally getting around to introducing the new addition to the family to you all...

This is Ralph and he is the bestest boy 🐾 welcome to the clan Ralphie.

He was named after his hero and mentor, Wreck it Ralph. We are definitely in the chewing stage so send me all you tips and advice!

It's been a wee while since we've had a puppy around the place and there's nothing better 🥹 he's brought so much love and laughter to the house 💚
