UPDATES TO SELF‑REFERRAL PARCEL BOOKINGS
We understand these changes may feel disappointing, and we want to reassure you that our commitment to supporting anyone who needs support remains the same. Recently, increasing numbers of people have been arriving on Friday mornings without a booking or ID and becoming upset when parcels are unavailable. To reduce confusion and help keep our volunteers safe, we are updating our process.
From now on, all self‑referral parcels must be booked in advance. Bookings need to be completed by 5pm each Thursday. Our phone and email lines are open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. You can still send texts, WhatsApp messages, or emails outside these times, but they will only be answered during our operating hours.
When collecting your parcel, please bring the confirmation you received after submitting your self‑referral, along with identification showing your name and address. These must be provided at every visit.
Anyone who arrives without a booking, confirmation, or ID will not be able to receive a parcel.
If you need additional support, we can provide information about local emergency services that may be able to help.
Everyone is welcome to come along and collect a share of FareShare, which is open to all and helps prevent good food from going to landfill.
