🤔 Ever wondered what happens to our 20L SESI barrels in the shop?

🚛 Delivered directly to the shop: They transfer into our 100L refills stations or we place them directly on the shelves.

⬅️ When a 20L barrel is empty, we don’t send it back straight away.

🫗 Instead, we decant any remaining product into another container. We even use a spatula to scrape the inside, making sure every drop of product is used.

🔁 We operation as a closed-loop refill system. This means that once a container is completely empty, SESI collects it, cleans it, refills it , and sends it back to us to distribute to you all!

💚 No waste. No shortcuts. Just refill done the proper way!

Today we are going to visit the House of Commons by invite of our Lib Dem MP Freddie van Mierlo.

What an exciting opportunity for us - showcasing good quality British Honey, educate about how important local produce is, talk about our connections to and experiences with local farmers/small businesses.
Not to mention the importance of , how truly AMAZING small batch honey tastes and the importance of recognising what real honey is.

Today we checked on the hives within the Apitherapy House
There is a really good amount of ladybirds and lacewings hibernating in all the window and door crevices. And under the rugs too! Aphids 2026 be warned.

The temperature inside is very cool, and the volume and activity of the bees has naturally reduced.
