One of the best things about planning your wedding is that there are very few rules.
The same goes for your wedding breakfast.
Some couples love the elegance of beautifully plated dishes arriving at the table. Others prefer the relaxed atmosphere that comes from sharing platters, where guests naturally chat, pass dishes around and help themselves.
Both work brilliantly.
If you asked our team which they prefer, you’d probably get a few different answers! After catering more than 2,500 weddings, our Chef Director, Kevin, would choose an Italian sharing-style starter to get everyone talking, followed by a plated main course for that extra touch of elegance, before finishing with a selection of mini desserts and a round of Espresso Martinis.
Ultimately, there isn’t a right answer. The best choice is the one that reflects your personalities and the atmosphere you want to create.
Which would you choose for your wedding? Sharing, plated, or a combination of both? 👇
