But somewhere between Affalterbach and the vineyards of France, we discovered that our Mercedes-AMG E63 Estate and the small w**emakers we seek out have rather more in common than we imagined. Not all rosé is created equal.

One of the questions we’re asked most often is why we travelled all the way to Provence to find Argonaut, when there are so many rosés to choose from across the south of France.

The answer begins long before the bottle.

It starts in the cool of the night, with grapes picked before sunrise. It continues in a small organic vineyard where everything is done by hand. And it ends with a w**e that tells the story of the place it came from, rather than trying to be something it isn’t.

Our latest story explores why rosé w**es can be so different, and why one quiet vineyard down a dusty Provençal track convinced us we’d found the one worth bringing home.
