We all would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to either post on our FB page or mail us such kind messages. It really means a lot to all of us.
The Little Green Hut has now left the lay-by and once the last few bits have been collected over the next few days all we will have are the memories of all the amazing customers and friends we have made over the past 8 years.

As most of you will now know we were the target of a break-in last weekend.
The past week has been a mixture of sadness , disappointment , shock and disbelief.
Sadness that their are such disgusting individuals that feel it is acceptable to steal and wreck not just one person’s business but also their loyal workers source of income.
Disappointment we were unable to serve our wonderful friends and customers.
Shock and Disbelief not only at the actions of these thieves but also that West Mercia Police do not even come out to try to solve the crime !
Sadly today I have had to inform the wonderful ladies who have been vital to the running of The Little Green Hut that I have made the difficult decision to close the business after nearly 8 years.
After much thought I have decided that if we did reopen it would just be a matter of time before these Scumbags targeted us again and sadly it’s just a risk we cannot take.
The Police do not seem to care that a crime has been committed and there are obviously no consequences for perpetrators.
I would like to thank each and every one of our customers over the last 8 years many of whom have become friends. Also the wonderful staff we have been lucky enough to have worked with.
Without wonderful customers and amazing staff the past 8 years would not have been possible.

This is an extremely hard post to compose but here goes,
Over the sometime between 1.45pm on Friday and 9am this morning (Sunday 20th) we have been the victims of theft and vandalism on a devastating scale.
The contents of The Little Green Hut have either been stolen of wrecked !
The motivation of the thief/thieves appears to be as much about making us unable to trade as it does about stealing from us.
They have in the short term succeeded on both counts.
At the moment we are wondering whether it is all worth it and whether we have the will and motivation to rebuild nearly 8 years of hard work in the face of such wilful and contemptible actions.
Most of you will know we are truly a Family business which has strived to have high standards of both service and quality food and drink to our customers many of whom have become friends for which we feel truly blessed. Our staff have always been either family members or local people who have gone above and beyond to help us in serving our wonderful customers.
The people who have done this have not only harmed our Family but also other local families who have been involved either presently or in the past.
If anyone has any information or noticed anything suspicious around The Hut over the weekend please don’t hesitate to contact us. In particular we are interested in a Blue Ford Mondeo which was in the lay-by on Saturday night / Sunday morning. It may be innocent but also it may not be.
This is not an announcement of closure at the moment we have a lot of thinking and soul searching to do over the next few days. What is for certain is that we will not be able to open for a few days. The Police are attending tomorrow and until then we can’t start the salvage and cleaning operation. The next step will be dealing with our insurance company because sadly much was taken and possibly even more destroyed by these people.
We will update here as soon as we have navigated the next few days in the meantime apologies to our valued friends and customers for the inconvenience caused.
