🥔 Golden Sagitta coming out of the Herefordshire soil 🌅

After the drought of 2026, it’s a pretty satisfying sight seeing these rolling up the harvester.

Weeks of dry weather, hard ground and plenty of wondering what was actually underneath it all… and now we finally get to see the result.

Fresh Sagitta potatoes, lifted here on the farm in Herefordshire.

Not every season makes it easy — but evenings like this make it worth it.

But the actual weight of our Fleckvieh X male, aged 24 months and 22 days, was…
