LET'S WISH THEM LUCK...
Leaven in Hereford has officially been named one of the final 16 in the National Pizza Awards 2026.

Their spokesperson said:
"That means our little independent pizzeria in Hereford is heading to London this November to cook head-to-head against some of the best pizza restaurants and biggest names in the UK, competing for National Pizza of the Year.
We opened Leaven in 2023 with a pretty simple ambition: obsess over the dough, use brilliant ingredients and make genuinely great pizza.
Since then, the team have put an incredible amount of work into every detail — our sourdough, fermentation, ingredients and the cook.
We’ve already been lucky enough to be named Best Independent Pizza Restaurant in the UK at the PAPA Awards 2024 and Best Italian Restaurant at the Midlands Food, Drink & Hospitality Awards 2026.
But making the final 16 nationally feels pretty special.
And we’re incredibly proud to be doing it from HEREFORD.
We’re also in some seriously good company."

CRAFT C***R WEEK begins today 🍎

A county wide celebration of Herefordshire c***r, the people who make it and the orchards behind it.

As a working c***ry on their Herefordshire farm, c***r is at the heart of what they do Newton Court

Visit them throughout the week for tours of the orchards and a glimpse of traditional c***r making with a tasting afterwards. Or go at your own pace with FLIGHTS FOR A FIVER 💪

For a deep dive into c***r history, from pip to pint, a visit to Home of C***r is a must! With audio guides, photographs and a wonderful collection of c***r advertising and vintage merchandise. Located in the centre of Hereford, you can easily make a day of exploring the city.

C***r runs through the veins of Herefordshire and today we have a thriving industry of large scale and small batch craft makers.

Our delivery road trip took us to HEREFOODIE member in the Golden Valley today.
Lunch service was packed with people enjoying a great menu inside and out. And did you know they have beautiful rooms too?
Might take Hubbyfoodie on a little romantic break 😍

Great service, great food and a great view awaits you at this super new venue in Hereford.
Think small plates (or upgrade them to a main) sides, flavour-packed dishes, seasonal desserts and delish coffee and cake.
