Colcombe House is a former fishing lodge located in the village of Hampton Bishop. During the 18th century, a successful Lancashire manufacturing family owned Colcombe House and retained it exclusively as their country retreat. In the 1920's, Colcombe House was linked to record breaking catches of wild Atlantic salmon in the River Wye.
