Three Fruity Ladies..
I thought it was time to reintroduce the people behind Three Fruity Ladies
Homemade Preserves have always been a big part of our family, and a constant presence on our Sunday tea table when I was growing up in the 80’s though to present day
Growing veg seems very fashionable these days, but for us it is embedded into family life. So much so my 7 year old grows veg too, only the things she likes to eat though🤣
My Dad was an outstanding landscape gardener and superb produce grower which led to Mum having to be very resourceful with bountiful amounts fruit and veg.
Mum (Pam) is an amazing cook so it was only logical that preserves were made, to use up all the wonderful fruits of Dads labour!!
I come from a teaching background having taught secondary P.E for 15 years , but wanted to pursue what I enjoyed doing; cooking and gardening. So Mum and I combined forces along with the help from my sister to get ‘THREE FRUITY LADIES’ off the ground in 2015
I won’t lie it’s been very difficult, combining full on gardening, harvesting fruit/veg, cooking, delivering but I love it!
When Dad ‘John’ passed away in 2021 a little bit of the business died with him and I’m still trying to get the mojo back as I lost my gardening hero and friend. Mum ‘Pam’ took a step back from the business in 2022 when Bellevue Cottage was sold taking well earned retirement! Though she is still chief marmalade maker!!
INGREDIENTS……..
If I can’t grow it myself I source the majority of my ingredients all within Herefordshire where the majority is grown too, keeping the food miles low and ensuring it is top notch!!
Apples & loganberries from
Amazing c***r from ***rcompany
Damsons and plums from
Herefordshire is rich with great produce so why look elsewhere!
As I navigate through this awful time for businesses. I hope to keep making preserves for you all to enjoy. It humbles me greatly that we have such amazing customers who continue to spend their hard earned pennies with us.
The biggest of thanks and gratitude 🙏🏼
