Meet Sammy 👋🥩

A familiar face behind our counter, our Head Butcher Sammy has over 29 years of experience in the trade, mastering her craft.

Sammy started out on the markets and even spent time behind the fish counter before joining Daylesford Organic as a butcher and later becoming part of the team here at Bridget B's. Her dedication and expertise earned her the title of Women in Meat Craft Butcher of the Year 2023 🏆

Full of skill, knowledge and hands-on experience, Sammy knows exactly how to get the very best from every cut 🔥

Sammy's go-to? Minted lamb chops 🐑

Simple, flavourful and perfect every time. Pop them in the oven for around 20 minutes or throw them on the grill when the BBQ's fired up. Serve with mash or roast potatoes for the ultimate comfort meal.

Midweek and stuck for dinner ideas? We’ve got you sorted 🍽️

Easy wins using cuts from our counter this week, paired with some essentials from Pearce’s Farm Shop 👇

🍗 Chicken thigh tray bake: one tray, hardly any prep, loads of flavour.

All you need:
• 6-8 chicken thighs
• 1 lemon
• 1 bunch of asparagus
• 4 garlic cloves
• 700g baby new potatoes, halved
• Small bunch of parsley or dill
• A spoon of wholegrain mustard
• A splash of white wine
• Feta or goat cheese crumbled on top
• 1 cup frozen peas

Nothing complicated, just proper, good food that fits into a busy week 🙌
