Keeping things fresh with the latest Wine of the Week.

Fresh style, fresh flavours, and freshly back in stock. Ignore the thunder that rolled over earlier; it's the perfect time to try the Fling Rosé from very local English vineyard Hazel End.

Light, refreshing, and just a little bit tart, bringing together raspberry, redcurrant, and crab apple notes in a Reichensteiner dominant blend tinted pink with a touch of Pinot Gris. Support local and sip in the garden!

It's Wine of the Week time again! Across our events calendar we're giving a lot of love to Spain this week, and I don't see any reason why we shouldn't double down with today's pick.

Montsant. A less-known appellation in Catalonia boasting the same excellent licorella soils that helped Priorat DOQ earn it's prestigious status. Syrah is rarely found in this area but stands out brillliantly in Pinord's Diorama. A wash of ripe blackberry flavour supplemented by dried fig, spice, and cocoa under the surface. That's all tied together with impressive power, vibrancy, balance, and perhaps most importantly, a very fun label!

We think that a plate of four artisanal cheeses, paired with two fine and richly flavoured reds on a Saturday afternoon in late May sounds like an excellent time, but that's hardly too surprising given our tastes.

Surely it's time for a fresh Wine of the Week? We certainly think so.

Today our wheel of fortune has fallen on a white blend from the Costières de Nîmes in South France's Rhône delta. Here, warm and breezy summers are ideal for bringing both flavour and freshness to the glass.

Château Beaubois combine traditional grapes of the area Roussanne and Viognier in Elegance. Long and luxurious on the palate, packed with fleshy pear and white peach, heady aromas of citrus peel, almond and orange blossom with just enough tanginess to bring the lot to life. Something a little different for you, and a personal favourite for me! 💛
