Choice Catering is based in the village of Hesket Newmarket, at the foot of the northern lakeland fells. I create quality home cooked food using fine local produce from England's most beautiful landscape. I cater for every need from private dinner parties to weddings, christenings to corporate events.

The first wedding for this year & what a beautiful idyllic wedding it was.
Over two days, the couple celebrated at The Fitz Country House with their guests, everyone having a relaxed special time together 🩵🩷

The bride & groom had a 4-course wedding breakfast followed by a Full English breaky the following morning

Toasted goats cheese with blackened sherry-vinegar onions
rocket salad, mustard balsamic vinaigrette

Gratin of tiger prawns with chilli & Fontina cheese
lime, tabasco, chilli, garlic cream sauce

Warm chargrilled beetroot, walnut, halloumi & apple salad
with a tarragon, honey & wholegrain mustard dressing

A mix of Formal & Casual dining over the last couple of nights for a large group on their hols in Keswick

Cooking up a variety of different meals (18 dishes in total!) including a new dish of Cumbrian breast of pheasant with pan fried caramelised apple wedges, a creamy apple juice lemon sauce & buttered celeriac mash ....& a roasted cauliflower cheese, thyme wholegrain mustard pie....then serving....then washing up & clearing away.

What a relaxing evening for all the guests 😊

A delightful afternoon celebrating an 80th birthday at the beautiful setting of Blencowe Hall The Rowley Estates

Lunch was served with a mix of Grazing platters; a Traditional Cumbrian Board / a Middle Eastern Mezze Board / a Tapas Board with Spanish meats & cheeses / a Smoky Chicken Fajita Board for the kiddies / a freshly baked bread basket + extra nibbles

+ pretty desserts & cupcakes

+ a rich fruit fondant iced birthday cake

A Summery Golden Wedding Anniversary lunch 💛

A special buffet consisting of canape platters for the guests as they arrived...followed by luxury seafood platters, sliced roasted meats, salads, baked breads & homemade desserts.
The lemon possets with lemon curd & exotic fruits, the key lime pies & the tiered berry pavlovas certainly made the table burst with colour!

90 guests attended the party last night at Welton Village Hall. Rhiannon chose a wide selection of items for the buffet...& I've never seen food disappear so quickly with only a few bits left! 😂
