Follow us over the next few weeks as we start to put together our woodland classroom! It’s been a dream of mine since starting hosting school children on our farm to create a woodland space for outdoor learning and this year we are going to make it a reality! We had a fantastic day welcoming back St Oswald's CE VA Primary School for their 3rd visit to Low Barns! The children were excellent farmers and were so eager to learn all about life on the farm as well as having lots of fun exploring the fields and woods. We can’t wait to see you again soon!

Here at Low Barns we believe getting children outdoors into nature is the best way of learning about the world! We can help to enrich your science curriculum, bring art projects to life, add a new dimension to literacy and bring maths to life all right here on the farm. Of course we have some fabulous animals to meet along the way too!

We are great believers that every child should have the opportunity to experience the outdoors in all weathers. The children visiting us this spring have certainly made the most of jumping in the biggest muddy puddles we’ve ever had!
