The Reiver Longhorns are a small herd of traditionally and carefully reared native breed beef cattle, farmed just a few miles from the Roman Wall where they graze on ancient grassland meadows alongside the River Tyne. The breed is renowned for its award winning flavour and texture.
“From field to fork” our cattle are matured slowly and grass fed to guarantee quality. I have been breeding Longhorns for more than 8 years, am a registered pedigree breeder and member of The Longhorn Society.

The next batch of beef will be available for collection from this Saturday 8th August 2.00 pm onwards

There are only a limited number of boxes available this month as most have been pre ordered . If you would like to reserve a box then please contact me as soon as you can thanks The price is £165 per box

Each low carbon footprint home produced 11 kg Longhorn Beef Box contains 2 4 person sized topside joints or 1 each of topside and brisket joints . There are also 2 each of sirloin , rib eye and rump steaks , a fillet steak , 700g packs of braising and stewing steaks , at least 5 680g packs of mince and 4 large beef burgers . All grass fed, 21 day matured, professionally butchered and vacuum packed ready for the freezer.
