📢 A LITTLE REMINDER — WE ARE CLOSED FOR ONE WEEK! 📢
A couple of our lovely staff members have mentioned that some people are still unaware that we are closing for ONE WEEK next week! 😬
We’ve had signs up in the shops since July, but as we’re clearly not very good at the whole social media thing 🤦♀️, we completely forgot to put it on here!
So, just to make it nice and clear:
📅 MONDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER – SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER
🚫 CLOSED IN BOTH BURNHAM & HIGHBRIDGE
Don’t worry, we’re not disappearing! We’re using the week to give the bakery some much-needed TLC. ❤️
🔧 Routine maintenance on our machinery
🎨 Painting
🧽 A LOT of cleaning
🔥 Cleaning the ovens — which is ridiculously difficult when they barely get 12 hours off to actually cool down!
🛠️ General maintenance to make sure everything is working as it should
And, most importantly, we’re giving our staff some much-deserved time off. They work incredibly hard, and they deserve a proper break too! ❤️
WE ARE OPEN TOMORROW — SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER:
📍 Highbridge — until 12:30pm
📍 Burnham — until 2:00pm
And we’re also very excited to be working with BosFest and catering in Manor Gardens on Sunday, so we won’t be completely out of action! 🎉
We’ll be back to normal from Monday 14th September, hopefully with shiny ovens, freshly painted bits, machinery that behaves itself and slightly less exhausted staff! 😂
