Another massive goose egg this morning coming in at 325g, thats roughly the same as 6 chicken eggs! We assume it’s a double yolker but we will leave that for one of you to find out.
We also have a few duck eggs, plenty of chicken eggs as well as our pasture raised pork and 100% grass fed beef in stock.

For the first time we have lamb in the shop. Friends of ours run a few sheep with our cattle and we bought one of their lambs for the shop. We have legs, shoulders, chops and mince available fresh in the fridge. We also have a small amount of pork fresh in the fridge as well.

The cattle are due to come off the turnip and kale mix tomorrow morning, so naturally all but 5 decided to go on an adventure. A few made it to the main road but luckily a local farmer kindly rang me to let me know and managed to push them back up towards where they should be.

We will have plenty of fresh pork back later this week, so please get in touch if you’d like any be it a pack of sausage...

This egg brought us great excitement this morning!
As some of you may know we have been struggling to keep up with demand on eggs. After what seemed like a long time of watching our new flock mature they laid their first egg this morning and to make it even better it was laid in the nesting box! Hopefully the other 99birds will follow suit.

We’ve got 3 smoked and 2 unsmoked gammon joints still available. Most smoked gammons/bacon these days get their smoked taste from “liquid smoke” added during the curing process but not ours. Ours are dry cured and then properly smoked over oak and beech.

Beef joints, pork joints, cockerels, sausages and bacon also still available.
