New Buildings Brewery

13/10/2026

This was our first run out with the new engine (the stand with the hand pulls) which fixes into the bar top. Although it weighs a TON it's worth it from the feedback we had on the b**r!

B**r was good, but the outfits were better?!

* Public Notice from Darren *

Saturday 10th October is a drinking day!

I have decided that because of the event in the town centre you need to set aside the day and head out. Country music, German themes, b**r, food where everyone is happy and having fun. What more can you ask for?

Possibly allow Sunday for a hangover?! As a professional drinker I don't get them but apparently it's a thing...

On a side note, support your town centre and the independent businesses, the struggle is real. 🫶

OktoBIDfest is coming to Hinckley again on October 10th!

Spanning regent street with live music, food and drinks, it'll be another amazing event.

Last year was incredible so this year we are coming prepared! Pop by to try

- Cubist 5.5% raspberry wheat b**r
- Courthouse 4.5% chocolate orange porter
- Lighthouse 3.9% pale ale
- Windmill 4.1% amber ale
- Bauhaus 5.5% wheat b**r

All served chilled through a handpull for optimal drinking 🍻🍺

Have you got this event in the diary?!

The Autumn b**rs are brewing (again!).

Last week Darren set these b**rs to brew and left it to do it's thing, only to come back to find this new yeast had caused the b**r to EXPLODE! So, a massive mess, a lot of cursing and a ton more research on these new ingredients, the recipe is now perfect.

We're pretty excited about these two b**rs as we haven't used wheat before and they're very promising already.

Plus, we had incredible feedback from the Tamworth b**r festival on the chocolate orange porter too so that'll be coming onto the pour list soon.

What do you think to the new pump clips?

Meet The Brewer with Fixed Wheel 🛞

Thank you to Scott who brought some ingredients for us to try, some of which we actually ate! He told us some interesting stories, chatted through brewing techniques along with his recipe development and the highs and lows of owning a brewery.

What an amazing evening!

HELP NEEDED, again!

We have two wheat b**rs on the brew schedule ready for Oktoberfest BUT they don't have names. The b**rs will be:

- Wheat b**r (hazy golden brown) vegan
- Raspberry wheat b**r (fruity and pink) vegan

The names need to sit together nicely and ideally not be too offensive...
