Well...
This isn't the post I ever thought I'd be writing.
Usually this is where I'd blame you lot for something.
But not today.
Today, it's just thank you.
What started as a 22-year-old lad, a trailer, and what can only be described as a complete lack of supervision somehow became Fries With Benefits.
A brand.
A community.
A travelling circus of cheese sauce, bad decisions, and absolute chaos.
We've stood in pub car parks, village fields, festivals, school events and everywhere in between.
We've served thousands of portions of loaded fries.
We've sold out.
We've broken equipment.
We've made friends.
We've laughed more than we probably should have.
And through all of it, you lot kept showing up.
Week after week.
Rain or shine.
Hungover or pretending you were "being good this weekend."
For that, I'll always be grateful.
To every customer who bought from us.
To every person who liked, shared, commented, tagged their mates or supported the madness.
Thank you.
To every pub, venue, event organiser and landlord who gave us a chance.
Thank you.
You helped build something that was far bigger than a loaded fries trailer.
The sad reality is that hospitality is becoming harder and harder every year.
Costs go up.
Margins disappear.
Independent businesses are expected to do more with less.
And eventually, something has to give.
For us, that day has come.
So this is goodbye.
Not with regret.
Not with bitterness.
But with pride.
Because for a while there, we built something ridiculous.
And somehow...
You lot loved it.
Thank you for every order.
Every queue.
Every sold-out service.
Every laugh.
Every terrible decision covered in cheese sauce.
You've been the best bad influence a business could ask for.
Stay chaotic.
Stay hungry.
And for the last time...
