I have always had a passion for baking but I never thought this could ever be more than a hobby for me, having worked as an optometrist in Spain for most of my professional life. But then in 2019 my thinking started to change when I had the opportunity to study Patisserie and Confectionery at the Culinary Institute in Barcelona. This led to further training with Escriba Academy; Museu De La Xocol
ata; Evelindecora; Marta Torres; Sweet cheeks by Renee; Frosted by Meagan. In July 2019 I moved with my family to Hitchin, a small market town in England. With it proving difficult for me to practice optometry in the UK, I realised that with the culinary skills I had developed it was the perfect time to fully embrace this passion that I had held for so long. So now my journey has begun and I am very excited to introduce you to Lilu’s Cookies! Lilu's offers a variety of decorated cookies for special occasions, as well as workshops where you will learn techniques on how to decorate your own cookies while you have a great time with your friends or colleagues from work.
