Greyhound Bengeo — Thursday 15th October 🍗

Thursday night at the Greyhound calls for one thing… So Solid Sando.

We’ll be parked up outside the pub from 5pm, serving through until 9pm. Perfect for grabbing dinner before heading home, meeting friends for a drink, or making a proper evening of it.

Strathmore Arms — St Paul’s Walden 🍗

It’s been a little while… but we’re heading back to the Strathmore Arms.

We’ll be setting up in St Paul’s Walden for the evening, bringing the Sando truck back for another round of crispy chicken and proper street food.

If you’ve been waiting for us to return, this one’s for you. And if you’ve never caught us here before — come and see what all the fuss is about.

Cambridgeshire Hunter — Saturday 17th October 🦌🍗

We’re coming back to the Hunter!

It’s been a while since we last pulled up here, so we’re looking forward to getting back to Cambridgeshire for another Saturday session.

We’ll be serving from 5pm–9pm, so whether you’re making an evening of it or just popping down for dinner, come and say hello and grab yourself some So Solid.

🐺 THE GREYHOUND, BENGEO

We’re back at our second home… although at this point, calling it a visit feels a bit misleading. 😂

The So Solid truck will be parked up at The Greyhound in Bengeo on Thursday 1st October, serving from 5–9pm.

Perfect for an after-work pint, a catch-up with mates or simply letting someone else sort dinner for you.

🍻 FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE GEORGE & DRAGON
⏰ 5pm - 9pm

After Thursday at the Greyhound, we’re heading up to Eaton Socon for the next stop on the So Solid tour.

The George & Dragon gets the truck on Friday 2nd October, with food being served from 5–9pm. Grab a drink, bring whoever you’re spending the evening with and let us take care of the dinner plans.

A pretty solid way to start the weekend 🥳🥳

What actually goes into a So Solid Sando? 🥪

Panko-fried chicken breast, our Asian slaw, your choice of Teriyaki, Kewpie Mayo, Tonkatsu, Curry Mayo, Wh**ky BBQ or Firecracker, all packed into soft Shokupan milk bread.

Our chicken comes from our good friends J. S. Alsford & Co. in Sandy, who prep it specifically to our own standards. Every breast is prepared to the same size and spec, so every Sando and portion of Karaage is consistent.

From there, everything is prepped by us in our kitchen. Our marinades, slaw, sauces and fillings are all made from scratch by us.

We’ve also got our custom Sando boxes, created with Bubb. Custom Packaging+Design so even the box your Sando comes in is designed specifically for us.

And we’ve already started taking the next step…

We’re currently making our own Shokupan in our very own micro bakery! Just a few final tweaks to get it exactly where we want it before it makes its way onto the menu very soon.

Slowly but surely, we’re bringing everything closer to home and making So Solid feel more and more like So Solid.

The goal is simple. keep bringing more and more of what we do in-house and make the best Sando we possibly can.
