Yesterday we celebrated the launch of our very own b**r range with our fabulous Beef, B**r & BBQ Event - what a day it was! 🥩🍻

We cooked up over 200 day dry-aged Caveman Steaks and served up tasters of our brand new b**r selection from 8 Sail Brewery in Heckington and Hawkstone 🍺
We’ve designed and built a brand new b**r display and if we do say so ourselves, it looks absolutely incredible! 🔥

The atmosphere was amazing, the steaks were flying off the BBQ, the b**r was flowing and it was so lovely to see so many of you come along and support us! 🫶🏼

We absolutely love hosting events but seeing the shop full of familiar faces, meeting new customers and watching everyone enjoying themselves makes all the hard work so worthwhile!

Thank you as always for supporting us, we couldn’t do it without you 🥰

We’ve got some very exciting news...

TOP 4 FINALISTS: BRITAIN'S BEST BUTCHERS SHOP!!🏆🥩

We were nominated in secret, had a secret shopper visit us and only afterwards we were notified that we’d been selected as one of the final four…to say we were shocked is an understatement! 😂

The whole Shearer team will be heading to Birmingham in September to The Meat Management Awards and we couldn’t be more excited! 🤗

We’re up against three absolutely amazing butchers and honestly, wherever we place on the night, just making it into the top 4 is an incredible achievement for us. We’re so incredibly proud of how far we’ve come 🫶🏼

A heartfelt thank you to all our staff for everything they do and to the builders & tradesmen who helped bring our new shop to life. And, as we celebrate this moment, we remember Gerald Shearer. Our story started with him and has shaped us into who we are today ✨

And finally, a massive thank you to every single one of you who continues to support us, we genuinely wouldn’t be here without you!

2026 Summer at Shearer's ☀️

We honestly can't believe it's been over 6 months since we moved into our new shop - where has the time gone?

The sunshine has definitely been on our side, which has meant plenty of BBQ favourites filling the counters. We have loved being part of so many special occasions this summer, from hog roasts, BBQs, buffets and dessert platters 😋

A huge thank you to lots of local companies who have trusted us to cater at their events including Boxes of Hope Charity Ball, Spalding YFC Open Day at Naylor Flowers, Smith and Munson, Mossop & Bowser Solicitors 200 Year Anniversary, Holbeach Mobile Bars, Delph Bank Touring Caravan & Camping Park, The English Olive Co. and so many wonderful private celebrations including a beautiful farm wedding at Tyrrell's Pumpkin Patch! ✨

The rest of the team have been holding the fort in the shop, keeping everything running smoothly. We haven't stopped with the building projects with new fencing and panelling, improving the Shearer experience one step at a time 😏⚒️
