As promised the new girls i was fortunate to purchase at the Jacob Sheep Society Scotland sale in Harrison and Hetherington Carlisle.

I was pleased to add this stylish shearling from the Dun-Mor flock to the four hours. I have always loved their style and sheep.

And then to do a deal on the Laurels shearling as well made it a very successful day out at the sale.

Looking forward to see how they breed with Adamski Michaelangelo

Had a good day out at the Scottish show and sale. Just a quick, 500 mile round trip.

It was good to catch up with everyone and look at the sheep from up north. Im sure 1 of these sales I'll come back empty handed. (Photos coming soon)

Congratulations to Adamski Jacobs on the champion ram lamb and to Hope Pedigree Livestock for top price of the day.

Had a great day out yesterday Jacob Sheep Society Central Region show and sale.

Didn't have any sheep entered in the show and sale this year but took some stores ram lambs and add a couple more ewe lambs to the flock.

Some might say I have an obsession with 4 horns now but couldn't resist these 2 lovely ladies. 1 from Perrymill and 1 from Penni Bach flocks.

I also took delivery of a very special ewe lamb that had caught my ewe at the open day at Mark and Margie Rushbrookes. She a stylish lamb and after a bit of research found she has bloodlines going back to the original Fortress Jacob flock from when my mother had it 20 years ago.

Looking forward to seeing how these ladies grow and develop into shearlings.

Having bought back into the 4 horned jacobs last year I had one goal this year. To find a good strong aged 4 horned tup.

So, when Oakdean Jacobs advertised this smart chap I couldn't resist.

Im over the moon to be added Adamski Michaelangelo to the sires I'll be using this year and cant wait to see what lambs he has with my girls

Not all of my plans work out!!

With Bryony having bred my best ewe to date, Beatrice. I had bought back a ram into the flock to try and achieve the same again!! How naive i was!!

Turns out nature had other plans. Bryony didn't hold to the ram and so I decided to use Elmley Colin the caterpillar and yesterday this little chap was born.
He has a real nice look about him and cant wait to see him grow and see if he will be as good as his sister for the flock.
