Here you can see the main man - Joseph Vettese, with his wife and some of his children and grandchildren! The last picture is also 3 generations of the family name, Joseph Vettese! (Dad, Son and Grandson)❤️

Progress this week! 🍦

1. The gorgeous Vettese sign is up, with a bit of teamwork!
2. BOH sink was installed
3. Ice cream machines were delivered
4. Very important machine was checked (not with our recipe just yet)
5. Uniform has arrived!

Grandad/Dad ❤️

Joseph Vettese (my grandad) and Luigina Notarianni (my nana) had ice cream in common 🫶🏽 They were absolutely beautiful people inside and out - I wish everyone in the world had the privilege of meeting them ❤️

True Italian style, they had and loved a big family - 7 sons! My dad (the boss of the new Vettese’s Ice Cream) is one of the 7 sons, also called Joseph Vettese.

Grandad would be so proud and excited to know that Vettese’s ice cream is making a comeback and I’m so proud of my dad for making that a reality ❤️

Of course nana would be absolutely over the moon too, but her family name continues in Blackpool with the amazing Notarianni Ices Blackpool ❤️

Although we only serve Vanilla Ice Cream, look out for the building that looks a bit like mint choc chip! 🍦 This colour ...

Family Teamwork 🫶🏽🇮🇹

It’s been a wonderful journey starting the family business up again - especially when we have all clubbed together to create and help with designs, painting, decorating, building, woodwork, logo making, laser cutting, sourcing machines and equipment and so on! There’s a huge list of family members, who we need to thank and we are so grateful for! ❤️
