What's the best thing to drink whilst eating a packet of our super tasty biltong? Beer obviously! And where can you get the tastiest pint around? The Ale Way obviously! So wouldn't it be a completely genius idea if our biltong was available in our favourite pub...

I am super excited to anounce yet another partnership with a fabulous local supplier. The reason for my excitement? We've now got Billtong as a snack option, courtesy of Triffords Farm near Wilmington.

A few of us in the pub last night got to sample both the traditional and slightly spicy flavours and they went down great, so much so that I've already sold some! Come down and try some whilst it's available.

Very strange experience being charged by a Roe deer that's probably less than half the weight of Newton. I realised straightaway that we must have been very close to her fawn. Fortunately the boy was very controlled and sat dead still, albeit with intense focus, as she retrieved the fawn and trotted off.

I keep looking for these Southern Marsh Orchids every year to see if they're spreading but they're quite hard to spot in a meadow full of red clover!
