What a privilege it was to have the team out at Moreton Show last weekend, the first time the Brewery has exhibited a Unicorn team of their own horses since before we have records for! 🤩

We had a great time last weekend at Belvoir Castle Steam Rally and Country Fair promoting the hard work of our Shire horses under the beautiful sight of Belvoir Castle.
This week catch us on Friday as we head to Bunkfest in Wallingford and then Moreton Show on Saturday!
Unfortunately as all three horses are headed to Moreton, this does mean the stables will be closed here at the Brewery.

More than just a dray horse, Balmoral cantered to victory today in the Novice Ridden class before taking overall Reserve Ridden Champion at the National Shire Horse Show! This is both Nick and Balmoral’s first ridden class and we couldn’t be prouder!
Sadly persistent rain and mud underfoot meant we made the decision to withdraw the Unicorn team from competing.

Whilst Willow basks in the sun and supervises the team; there’s a few changes to this weeks diary!
Thursday no delivery at The Pear Tree as we head to the National Shire Horse show!
The boys are then at home Friday before Brigadier and Cromwell head off to Belvoir Castle for their Steam & Country show.
Balmoral will be holding fort over the weekend where you can see him up in the field!

We’re excited to be heading to the National Shire Horse Show this year on Thursday 27th August and will be competing in a couple of classes! A last minute decision to go along and support, we’re not expecting huge results and will be using it as an important training exercising for young Cromwell as he dips his toe into competitive driving. Unfortunately we’ve made the sad decision to cancel our attendance at Fairport's Cropredy Convention Official page music festival this weekend due to the rising temperatures! Undoubtedly one of our diary highlights but sadly this year the boys will enjoy a quieter, cooler day at home!
