Set in Hope at the foot of Losehill in the Peak District, Watson’s Farm Shop brings together more than a century of family farming, traditional craftsmanship and exceptional local produce. Today, three generations of the Watson family continue to work the land and carry that heritage forward.
At the heart of the shop is its on-site butchery, where meat from the family’s own grass-fed animals is prepared using traditional techniques. Their range includes Aberdeen Angus beef, Losehill lamb, heritage pork, sausages, cured bacon, seasonal game and award-winning pork pies.
Beyond the butcher’s counter, customers will find fresh seasonal produce, artisan cheeses, locally sourced dairy, breads, cakes, preserves, beers, wines and plenty more from producers across the region. Their approach to provenance is summed up brilliantly by their own phrase: they measure their food in metres, not miles.
That commitment to quality was also recognised at the 2026 British Pie Awards, where Watson’s Farm Shop received a Silver award.
