Minor panic always sets in on a Wednesday. I've got an eclectic mix of beers as ever. Looking like:

Keg,

Pecsaetan IPA 6% west coast style
Röke 4.8% Bright pale
High peak cider 4.7%
Stanage stout 4.5%
Faeger lager 4.5%
Forar spring lager 4%
Hefeweizen 4.7%

Cask,

Solito pale 4%
Navio bitter 4%
Odin vanilla porter 5%
Bàn english session ipa 4.1%

So head down and find the most elusive brewery in the Hope Valley

Meet Roke!

Named after the old dialect for the valley mists we get in Derbyshire and the other more Northern Counties.

This is one of the new beers I've been working on. Trying to hit the stronger but not to strong pale category. It comes in at 4.8% and is hopped with centennial & citra in the whirlpool, idaho 7 at pitch and then more idaho 7 & citra as a further dry hop. Fermetented with saturated yeast for those peachy esters.

Is it new England? Sort of. Is it west coast? Sort of. It's neither in one camp or the other. There will be a bright spark advertising name out there but all I can say is it tastes Bob on.

Got another batch of malt sacks free to a good home.Perfect for rubble sacks, garden clean ups etc.I can't recycle them ...

I can't recycle them locally yet so would rather see them re used than just binned.

Free to collect at the brewery.

So I know it's a little late with the promo (breaking my phone didn't help) but Saturday the 2/5/2026 is the first tap yard day of the year!!!!!!!

Sunshine Pizza Oven will be slinging wood fired pizzas to go with fresh pints from the brewery. Got a new doozy for you to sample, as well as regular and returning favourites.

The brewery will be open from 11-8 for all your beery delights. So make sure you stop buy if you've been to Tideswell Food Festival or Hope Valley Beer & Cider Festival

It's that time of year again.

36 times round the sun today. And yet again another sunny day for a birthday pic and pint.

And also the Spring Equinox. From now on the days get longer and the warmth of summer approaches.

Shop is open today only this week as it is a cubs & scout competition tomorrow so out for the day.

Got plenty of beers for draft takeaways in the new growlers and bottles for stocking up the home reserves.
