Following on from my post of yesterday regarding my next batch of Longhorn beef firstly thanks to everyone who has placed an order. Until butchered, vacuum packed and labelled we never know exactly what the yield will be but I think we are very close. For the time being I shall have to stop taking orders but on 10th May when packing is done if there is any left I will post what is left left. Thanks again, all the best Charlie Sutcliffe

The next batch of my Longhorn beef is hanging and will be ready for cutting and vacuum packing on Friday 8th May. I already have a number of 15kg packs pre-booked however there will be a number of packs available to purchase. Please contact me to make your reservation, thank you. Packs contain a cross section of joints, steaks, braising steak, diced stewing beef and mince. They are priced at £165.00 per pack (£11.00 per kilo) collected from Tetford LN9 6QL. I .

Yesterday, Friday 4th August, as part of the halter breaking process Ian McNee and I washed the 3 bulls born in 2021 and then tied them up side by side for well over an hour. At the end of this they were not only clean but extremely calm, so were walked back to their pen in the shed. Tomorrow Ian returns to foot trim them and then they will be ready to go to new homes.
