We may have overdone it.

Our drying room is fuller than it's ever been
Our fridges are full (of meat)
There is biltong coming out of our eyeballs. 

Which is probably just as well because this weekend Bliksem is pulling a double shift. 

🥩 Saturday: shop open 9-2
🥩 Sunday: our FIRST MARKET (!!!) at The Big Nibble, Carfax, Horsham, 10-4

And if that wasn't enough excitement for one weekend, the Boks play the All Blacks again on Saturday in what is essentially the decider 😱

So please come help us turn this irresponsible amount of meat into a slightly more sensible amount of meat.

Life in the bush is over for Brian. Shop life returns this Saturday.

After four weekends away, we are SO excited to be back and see you all again. We missed you, bliksems.

And what a weekend to return, with rugby’s greatest rivalry kicking off 💃 🇿🇦 🏉

If you know you’re coming to see us and want biltong, drop us a message and we’ll happily put some aside for you. We should have plenty of droëwors and chilli sticks to go around.

Brian’s hanging the last big batch before we hang up the blue gloves and head off on safari. 🦁

This Saturday is our last proper shop day for FOUR WEEKENDS, so come and see us between 9am and 2pm and stock up before we disappear into the bush. We'll be away from 22nd July to 15th August. 

While we’re gone, Robin will be keeping production going, so you can still pre order and arrange collection by texting Brian on 07548 731146. 

The shop will be closed, but we will never cancel biltong. 

Four weeks without us: manageable.

TWO MORE SATURDAYS, bliksems!

We’re off camping in the bush from 22 July to 16 August, which means the shop will be shut while we’re away.

Before we disappear into the wild, we’d love to see you.

We’ll be open:

Today: 10am to 12.30pm
Saturday 11th: 9am to 2pm
Thursday 16th: 10am to 12.30pm
Saturday 18th: 9am to 2pm

While we’re away, our friend Robin will be keeping the biltong going, but we won’t be open as a shop. For pre orders and collections, just message Brian on 07548731146 and we’ll get you sorted.

This camping trip has been seven years in the making and was in the diary long before Bliksem Biltong became a thing. We’re so grateful for all the support you’ve shown our small business, and we can't wait to be back in the shop on the other side. 

Come see us before we swap biltong for binoculars. 🦏 🌿
