Did we already mention that the Boks are back? In celebration we have the full match day line up: biltong, droewors, chilli sticks.

Saturday hours for this week are 9am - 1pm (we will not miss the national anthem)

THE BOKS ARE BACK!

This means a few things:

1. We didn't do any work yesterday until the squad announcement was out
2. "It's not even a test match" is an unreasonable sentence
3. The pre game Spotify playlist is already on (three) peat
4. Biltong is a match day essential, not a nice to have
5. Our opening hours have been adjusted in accordance with the national religion.

We'll be open Saturday 9am - 1pm. This is an hour earlier than usual either side, because we love you but we love the Springboks more.

Come early, get ready, go Bokke.

We love the Springboks in a very normal and proportionate way.

By which we mean we named our bull terrier Faffie after Faf de Klerk.

Is it fun telling British people our dog's name is Faffie and them 99% of the time thinking we said Fluffy? Yes 😅

Was it accurate? Also yes. Small, fast when he wants to be, chaotic af, occasionally makes questionable decisions, but ultimately iconic.

Anyway, the Boks are back this Saturday, so we've put together a small selection of Springbok moments that live rent free in our heads.

On Saturday:

There will be biltong.
There will be droëwors.
There will be chilli sticks.
There will be unnecessary emotional investment.
There will be the Springboks ⚡

And importantly, there will be slightly different opening hours because rugby is our religion and we need to be in front of the TV.

Saturday hours: 9am-1pm.

The World Cup kicks off today and South Africa are playing Mexico tonight.

We’d love to offer some insightful football commentary, but honestly, the best we can do is:

1. Come on Bokke...sorry, we mean Bafana Bafana
2. Bliksem doesn't discriminate on ball size. It's a universally elite match snack
3. We hope the ball goes in the correct net

We are open today 10-12.30 if you want to grab something for the game.

And as always, we'll be open Saturday 10-2pm for your weekend biltong, droëwors and chilli stick needs.
