We have been delivering milk on the doorstep since the 1920's when the customer wanted their milk warm so they knew it was fresh. Now a days we bottle fresh everyday within a few hours of the milk leaving the cow. We then deliver to the milkmen's fridges and it's on your doorstep the following morning. We pasteurise all our milk for bottling in both the traditional glass bottle and plastic cartons

. The glass bottles are delivered on the doorstep by ourselves and the many milkmen we supply. Milk also goes to shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries in the area. The cream produced on farm is sold to some of the top bakeries and restaurants in Huddersfield. Both milk and cream goes into making the best ice creams in the Colne Valley. We like to refer to our cows as 'the girls', they lead a pretty idyllic life here on the hills above Slawit. During the summer they go out every day to graze on fresh grass. In the winter they keep nice and cosy in the cowshed away from the wind, rain and snow eating the silage we have made during the summer especially for them. It's no coincidence that the milk they produce tastes so good.

Due to acquisition of new rounds, we have more opportunities to take on a new doorstep delivery drivers.

Hi all, were on the look out for new members of our doorstep delivery team. We have 3 positions available below.

The delivery route rarely changes and customer contact is very very minimal. Approximately 18-20 hours per week, Wednesday and Thursday tend to be a lighter load with only 70% of the customers having deliveries. Working hours will be between 12 midnight till 7/7:30am. All deliveries are app based so minimal paperwork is required by you.

Round 1 - Rastrick and Brighouse
Currently this round has around 250 customers, You will be responsible for picking stock, loading & delivering to address 3 x per week (mon, wed and friday).

Round 2 - Barkisland, Norland, Westvale and Greetland
Currently this round has around 250 customers, You will be responsible for picking stock, loading & delivering to address 3 x per week (mon, wed and friday).

Round 3 - Outlane, Stainland, Salendine nook and Mount.
Currently this round has around 300 customers, You will be responsible for picking stock, loading & delivering to address 3 x per week (tues, thurs and sat).

Finished in time for the school run. The more efficient you are the sooner you will get done.

This position will be salaried based on customer volume and is to be discussed.

THIS IS NOT A CASH POSITION

Must have’s
- full uk driving license
- Be over 25 for insurance purposes
- Confident driving larger pickup trucks
- A good level of fitness (walking, jogging and lifting is part of the job)
- Must be punctual
- Trust worthy
- own method of transport as we are rurally situated

Local road knowledge is a bonus, but not essential as a training period will be given.

This evening, Thursday 1st of January and Sunday 4th of January, we will be out delivering the Brighouse and Rastrick round from 6pm as we have had another mechanical failure on the transit. This means we have to use the Hilux on two rounds this evening.

Due to continued growth, we have another opportunity to take on a new doorstep delivery driver.

Afternoon all, were on the look out for a new member of our doorstep delivery team. The role will be sorting orders at the farm before delivering to home addresses in Fixby, Bradley and Birkby.

Currently this is a smaller round of around 180-200 customers, You will be responsible for delivering to address 3 x per week (Tues, Thurs, Sat).

Our intentions are to grow this round in the winter to around 250/300 customers.

The delivery route rarely changes and customer contact is very very minimal. Approximately 15 hours per week to start, up to 20 hours when the round is full. Working hours will be between 12 midnight till 7/7:30am.

Finished in time for the school run. The more efficient you are the sooner you will get done. Currently only takes us 10-12 hours per week.

This position will be salaried and is to be discussed.

Must have’s
- full uk driving license
- Be over 25 for insurance purposes
- Confident driving larger vans and pickup trucks (3.5 tonne transit van and toyota hilux’s
- A good level of fitness (walking, jogging and lifting is part of the job)
- Must be punctual
- Trust worthy
- Flexible to assist holidays.

Local road knowledge is a bonus, but not essential as a training period will be given.
