Takayama micronising peas hanging in there with this extreme heat. Grown for for the Japanese snack market. Low input break crop which will put a valuable amount of Nitrogen back into the soil for the following wheat crop.

We have two days shooting available to sell. 1x 150 1x 200-250 bird day. We shoot a mix of partridge and pheasant over open chalk downland which is perfect for partridge as well as traditional wooded valleys for pheasants . Relaxed family shoot complete with fun bus and lodge for guests to enjoy.. come and sample our fabulous food where we offer high quality catering where we only serve quarry harvested from the estate.

We are looking forward to opening Rooksnest Garden in aid of the National Garden Scheme nominated charities tomorrow. The weather is forecast to be sunny so it will be perfect for a potter around a beautiful garden! You can buy tickets on the gate if you don't have them already from the NGS website.
