Today we were down at the Scottish National Honey Show 🍯🐝

Out of 200-300 entries, we came away with a 3rd place and a very highly commended in the Cut Comb section. 🥳

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice also had a fantastic day, picking up a 2nd and 3rd in the Novice Runny Honey and Soft Set Honey with our girls’ honey, and a 3rd in the Novice Candle section.

All of those points meant she was awarded the cup for Most Points in the Novice Section! 🏆🥳🎉

We couldn’t be prouder — what a fantastic day for the bees and their keepers! 🐝🍯

🐝🍯 We’ve been busy as bees… although this time we weren’t actually in the apiary! 😂

We decided to have a wee play in the kitchen using some of our very own honey and, because apparently a normal shape just wasn’t good enough, we made it into a bee! 🐝

Not for selling, not for a fancy recipe book… just a family having a bit of fun with the honey our bees have worked so hard to make. ❤️🍯

We’re fairly sure the bees would be proud.

Although there’s a good chance they’d be wondering why we’ve made one of them edible. 😂🐝

From our hives, to our kitchen… and very shortly, into our bellies! 😋
