Join us this coming Father’s Day at The Cabrach Distillery.

We raise a glass to the forefathers of The Cabrach - to the men who walked this land, worked its fields, and distilled with remarkable skill, shaping a way of life defined by resilience and community.

Generations of farmers and crofters have created a whisky heritage that has earned a reputation far beyond these hills. Their stories are woven in every corner of The Cabrach.

Today, as the revival of this proud whisky making tradition continues at Inverharroch, their legacy continues to inspire the future of The Cabrach - a place where the wild spirit lives again.

Book a special visit on Father’s Day here on the rugged edge of Speyside.

Departing the Land of the Wild Spirit at Inverharroch, we have made the idyllic journey through the picturesque Lower and Upper Cabrach to exhibit at the Dram Good Festival at The Arbikie Distillery.

Our Distillery Manager Euan Christie will host masterclasses (some are already sold out) throughout the day, sharing our remarkable story of loss, hope and regeneration.

Although yesterday's rain was very much welcomed by our farmer Derek as it drenched our home barley fields at Inverharroch, the sun has rolled back into The Cabrach today alongside our newest batch of ex-Heaven Hill American Oak Bourbon casks.

At The Cabrach, our firm belief is that the best possible quality of spirit, combined with the best possible quality of oak, will deliver a Single Malt of the highest quality, befitting of The Cabrach's whisky making heritage. As a result, we work very closely with Speyside Cooperage in support of our maturation policies and inspect each and every cask individually as they arrive at Inverharroch, before being filled with our wild spirt in our traditional dunnage warehouse.

First fill ex-Bourbon American Oak casks account for around half of our filling plan at The Cabrach Distillery, with Heaven Hill specifically selected for its gentle influence on our complex New Make Spirit, layering in notes of vanilla, honey, and subtle spice.

We love The Feering story.

What began as a simple idea evolved into our highly limited series-of-three Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whiskies.

Curated by Alan Wi******er and crafted from hand-selected casks generously gifted to The Cabrach by our distillery near-neighbours, The Feering brings together exceptional whisky (rarely found in a bottle together), community spirit, and a glimpse into the character of The Cabrach Single Malt.

The story began with Early Harvest, our first edition. A quintessential Speyside dram, rich with orchard fruits, honeyed sweetness, and summer character. Every bottle bought, gifted or enjoyed supports our mission.

Next arrived Late Crop, our second edition and the first exclusive bottling for members of The Cabrach Collective. Through aging on and careful finishing in sherry, red wine and ruby port casks, we introduced deeper layers of richness and complexity. An exceptional whisky, now being readied for dispatch to The Collective.

And then comes Deep Earth, the third and final chapter in The Feering series. We’ll share more next year on this edition, but once again this release will be exclusively available to members of The Cabrach Collective.

But why “The Feering”?

In Scots Doric, a feering is the first furrow ploughed in a field - the line that guides all those that follow. Whilst we await the arrival of The Cabrach Single Malt Scotch Whisky, The Feering serves as our first whisky offering and a guide to what lies ahead.

Become part of story. Join The Cabrach Collective today.
