The Buxton Team would just like to say a massive thank you to all that came out last night in bad weather to support the "The Bux Quiz" with our resident quiz master "Jack Williams", powered by "Speed Quizzing". We had 18 teams, all hoping to get that 1st place, which "The Exorquizsts" did, followed in 2nd place by "Quizzy McQuizzicals", 3rd place "Quiz on yer Face"; 4th place "Smartinis" & 5th place "Judy Finnigan's bedpan". In last place and taking away a bag of Skittles we had "Mini Eggs". The "Play Your Cards" jackpot of £900 was won bu "Quizzy McQuizzicals. This means we now have £100 in the Jackpot next week, where "Jack" will be back at the helm, so we look forward to seeing you all again next week for another fun packed quiz".

Well, It's Wednesday again, autumn is well and truly setting in, and we are already three weeks into October, but don't forget - Tonight is our "Bux Quiz" with our quiz master Jack Williams. Could you do with some extra cash in October ......... then don't forget to come and join us tonight for our weekly FREE to enter, fun "Bux Quiz" from 8pm. Prizes to be won for 1st; 2nd; 3rd; 4th; 5th and last places. Then after the quiz we have our jackpot game of "Play Your Cards" where for just £1 you could boost your bank balance and walk away with the jackpot prize, which this week is at £900, for just correctly guessing if each card is Higher or Lower than the preceeding one, wouldn't that be a nice little boost to your balance in mid October.
Why not make a night of it and book a table in the restaurant beforehand and enjoy a delicious English or Chef's special meal before the quiz starts, or even try one of our delicious pizzas, "Quizdogz" or our "Nachos with Chilli & Cheese".
