I won't lie, it's certainly not been the best month for The Milkshake Man.

Next week I'm going to take a step back and have a proper think about the future of the business. That's not an easy thing to say when you've poured so much of yourself into something.

The early starts, the long days, the website, the ordering, the accounts, the marketing, the deliveries... pretty much everything has been done by me, often alongside working a full-time job.

I love what The Milkshake Man has become, and I'm incredibly grateful to every customer, stockist, supporter and person who's recommended us to friends and family along the way.

Right now, I just need a little time to reflect, recharge, and work out what comes next.

I'll be completely honest... this week has been one of those weeks where you start questioning everything.

So far, most of the orders we've received have come from our amazing subscription customers, with only a handful of additional orders on top.

Running a small business isn't always as glamorous as social media can make it look. Behind the scenes it's early mornings, late nights, website updates, ordering stock, marketing, deliveries and constantly trying to grow.

Sometimes you have great weeks. Sometimes you have quieter weeks that make you wonder if you're doing something wrong.

I genuinely don't know if it's the economy, the weather, people being busy, or just one of those weeks, but I'd be lying if I said it doesn't make me question whether The Milkshake Man has a future.

What I do know is that every single order means the world to us. Every share, comment, recommendation and referral helps more than you probably realise.

So thank you to everyone who continues to support us, especially our loyal subscription customers who keep us going week after week. ❤️

We'll keep turning up every Saturday, keep improving, keep adding new products and keep giving it everything we've got.

Won’t lie… running The Milkshake Man alongside working full time is hard work.

Most Saturdays start around 3am, sometimes earlier.

People see the deliveries and social media posts, but behind the scenes it’s me doing:
📦 Ordering
💻 Website work
📣 Marketing
📊 Accounts
🚚 Deliveries
📱 Customer messages
🥛 Stock planning

Pretty much everything.

We do have regular customers and new customers joining us every week, and I’m genuinely grateful for every single order ❤️

But the reality is, in the current climate, small businesses are struggling.

After stock, fuel, insurance, vehicle costs and everything else… sometimes it feels like we’re just scraping by while still trying to offer the best service possible.

The van crash recently definitely didn’t help either, but despite that I’ve still turned up every day trying to keep building and improving things behind the scenes.

I’m trying to expand further with:

🏪 More stockists
🎁 Referral schemes
🔥 New product lines launching next week

I genuinely believe in what I’m building, but I’ll be honest — support from the community really does matter.
