WOW. Just look at the barn!

I think a disco ball is what it's been missing all this time.

This weekend we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Lily & Dom's wedding here on the farm, and what a day it was. Two wonderfully creative families coming together to create something truly special.

The mother of the bride led a wedding Zumba class, while the mother of the groom hand-crafted beautiful glass wedding favours. There was a lot of joy in the farmyard.

Thank you, Lily & Dom, for choosing us as your venue. It was such a pleasure to meet your friends and families and be part of your celebration.

Vicki and I clocked up around 15 miles of steps each making sure everything ran smoothly.

Looking forward to seeing the professional photos.

The wonderful Emma host's eco therapy sessions in the woods on the farm.

"Hello there, my name is Emma and I offer one-to-one ecotherapy sessions at West Town Farm for adults. People seek ecotherapy for many reasons - burn-out, disconnection, times of transition, overwhelm, loss of meaning, and a longing to connect with something deeper and soulful in their life.

Deepening our relationship with wider nature is inherently healing, and ecotherapy offers something different to traditional talking therapies. In the sessions we work in co-creation with nature - nature leads, not as a backdrop or a 'tool' - but as a direct relationship where we are held by the land and met and reshaped by the particularity of place - the way the wind speaks through the trees, the way the grass holds the shape of our bodies. We slow down. We listen. We are called back to our sensorial earth-body. And we remember we are nature, we are part of the wild web of life.

People speak of the ecotherapy process offering a sense of grounded restoration, homecoming, reanimation and a reclaiming of lost parts of themselves - as well as a recovery of a sense of belonging.

If this is something that speaks to you I offer a free exploratory call. To find out more info, including pricing, please visit my website"

We've had an exciting delivery from the Edible canopy.. their passion for edible plants and forest gardening is super cool. Vicki is thankfully much better at writing and has more info on it all below...

Martin Crawford recently sold his plant nursery to Fran Welch of Edible Canopy . Fran will continue Martin's long-standing commitment to growing high quality, rare and delicious plants, trees and perennials for food forests. Fran has worked with Martin for many years and we're thrilled to be stocking a collection of plants in the farm shop.

Food Forests are edible ecosystems designed to mimic a woodland, combing layers of trees, shrubs, perennials and ground covers that build healthy soil and benefit wildlife, all whilst producing an abundance of food. Whether you have a field or a small garden, you can create your very own

We're slowly getting through the list and still recovering from the wet winter. It feels amazing to be nearly finished! Of course, once that's done, we'll be straight into wedding season.

Farm life definitely keeps us on our toes, we seem to wear a different hat every day.

The photo of the swallows just chilling on the toilet door brings me so much joy.

We also have chicken back in the shop, along with a fresh restock of sausages. We've used a different butcher this time, so they look a little different, but they taste great. Give them a try.
