And finally last Thursday we were back at Tawstock Court with a little help from my sister Roots & Thyme for an intimate wedding for Sophie & Jordan. Congratulations 🥂

Firstly we returned to the old rectory in Berrynarbor for a regular client for a small dinner party.

We served:

To start:

Seared Scallops, Curried Parsnip Puree, Caramelised Apple.

Main Course:

14oz Rib Eye Surf & Turf With King Prawns, Triple Cooked Hand Cut Chips, Asparagus, Vine Tomatoes & Peppercorn Sauce.

Dessert:

Banana Sticky Toffee Pudding, Vanilla Ice Cream, Banoffee Fudge.

No wedding this weekend just a short trip up to Mullacott for a Hen Do where we smashed out some big ol’ burgers -

We served classic double cheese burger but also:

BBC - Bacon, Brie & Cranberry Burger
Inferno - Chilli Cheese, Jalepenos and Chilli Sauce
Mexican Chicken - Breaded Whole Chicken Breast With home made salsa, Guacamole, Sour Cream and Chilli Cheese.
New Yorker - with Pastrami & Cream Cheese
Texan - Maple Cured Bacon & BBQ sauce.

All served with Beer Battered Onion Rings, Seasoned Skin on Fries and Homemade Coleslaw.

For our American style dessert Trio:
