West Moor House Farm

West Moor House Farm We are an upland farm breeding pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle.

We have a hill flock of pure bred Swaledale sheep, a flock of Texel cross ewes producing butchers lambs and two native breed flocks of Greyface Dartmoor and Welsh Badger Face sheep.

Tales from the Trail Camera

After many sleep-inducing 10s clips of grey squirrel activity, this pops up. Exotic!
A lovely mandarin duck, and he has a mate, who appears very briefly on the subsequent clip. The cameras are left undisturbed for a couple of months at a time, so I wont find out for a while if there are any ducklings.

We, (the cattle and I), have discussed the notion of sharing at length. Apparently this is liberal nonsense, according to the heifer on the left, a feisty beast, with conservative views on natural resources.
