This week’s review is for The Beech Barn Kitchen in Ilminster.

With it being such a lovely sunny Sunday, we headed out for a dog walk with our good friend Suzie, who suggested we pop into Beech Barn Kitchen for brunch afterwards. ☀️🐶

They are celebrating their first birthday today and there was a real buzz around the place. They had even hidden golden tickets around the restaurant for customers to find, which was a lovely little touch.

We ordered three different breakfasts and they came out really quickly and, more importantly, they were all delicious! There were gluten free and dairy free options too, so everyone was catered for. 🍳☕

It was lovely and busy without feeling too hectic, the setting is really nice and, being dog friendly, it's perfect for combining a Sunday walk with a coffee, brunch or something a little more substantial.

365 days. Countless coffees. Lots of cake. A few muddy paws. One very memorable year🤎

We’ve watched the seasons change across the beautiful Dillington Estate, from golden autumn days and a cosy Christmas, to spring blossoms and sunny afternoons outside🌸🍂

We’ve served countless coffees, cakes, Sunday roasts and our much-loved hot chocolates, celebrated Valentine’s Day with afternoon teas, welcomed some very unexpected visitors (including a rather handsome parrot!), and even had a little pony pop in from our neighbours at Dillington Farm! 🐴

We’ve hosted baby showers, pizza nights and so many beautiful celebrations, welcomed countless dogs through our doors, and most importantly, had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people along the way!

Thank you to every single person who has visited, eaten, celebrated, recommended us, brought their dogs, shared our posts, or simply stopped by for a coffee. You’ve made our first year so incredibly special!
