Welcome to our shop.
We're proud to say we ONLY sell items that are made with milk, fruit or beef that is produced here on the farm.
We DO NOT buy in any items for resale. When it's gone it's gone!

We're currently well stocked op on both prime and vintage jersey beef. Grass fed and organically reared.

Plenty of raw milk, raw cream and raw butter.

Soon we will have some new ice cream flavours for sale, so keep your eyes peeled for this!

This spring has been exceptional when it comes to thriving wildlife.

We watched a great spotted woodpecker family rear their chicks. They have now successfully fledged.

In another tree we spotted a blue tit nest. The mum and dad have been bringing their young grubs every few minutes. They’ve also fledged now.

Another less fortunate Wren family had built their nest inside our mower. Luckily the nest was discovered at the last moment. The nest was removed and brought into the farm kitchen where Iris has hand reared the chicks.

The wrens are now living on our polytunnel as part of a controlled release, learning to become fully independent. They’re doing very well (hiding and staying away from humans and finding their own food) and will probably be fully released within the next couple of days.

A wildlife camera on our farm caught some good shots of some roe deer that frequent our pastures.

What else did we spot this week?

Field vole

Baby squirrels 🐿️ 🐿️

Gold finches

Song thrushes

Boxing hares

Bunnies on our campsite 🐰

Oystercatchers

Swallows

Nut hatch

And many other common birds, bees 🐝 and butterflies 🦋

When farming organically and regeneratively you see so much more life out there. ❤️

It’s just wonderful to see and hear.

The morning chorus at 4am 🎶 has been like a bird orchestra that has been incredibly loud! Just wonderful.

We are so grateful that we can live like this. We couldn’t do it without our loyal customers supporting us all year round.

Thank you.

Cows self medicating. Do housed cows have this opportunity of a diverse diet?
We are told to eat a varied diet but what about the animals we eat?
Each plant has special properties available to the animals. Conventional farms don't allow for this wide diversity as they aim for a monoculture within the fields because nettles are weeds that make the farm look messy. Maybe we need to look at things differently.
Our cows eat different plants out of the hedgerows depending on their nutritional needs.
Isn't nature wonderful! ❤️❤️
