Due to ongoing expansion here at ESR, we're looking for a full-time permanent Fabricator/Welder to join the team based at our Insch workshop.

You would be working on a variety of steel structural work scopes including Frames, Handrails, Lifting Equipment, Hose Reels etc

The ideal candidate would also have experience working with Stainless Steel & Aluminium but not essential for the role.

Candidates must be motivated, hardworking and a team player, with the ability to work to a very high standard and understand the importance of deadlines and following HSEQ guidance.

We recently supplied 2of Air Powered Type 1 Hose Reels for a new customer. These were specifically designed to include for a 10K PSI rated through shaft live center & reel divider to simplify operations & make them safer.

These units are approved to DNV 2.7-1 & also assessed under ATEX for hazardous locations.

Design / Project Engineer Vacancy

ESR UK are a family-owned company with manufacturing facilities in Aberdeenshire & Orkney, we design & manufacture equipment used in the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Brewing & Distilling, & Food Processing industries suppling to a global customer base.

We are currently recruiting for a Design / Project Engineer on a permanent Full-time staff basis.

The Design / Project Engineer will assist in the day-to-day design and project management, be able to prioritise their workload, work as part of a small team as well as support workshop operations as required.

The Design / Project Engineer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:
• Drafting and fabrication drawings, schematics and 3d modelling.
• Design calculations & simulation
• Running a project from start to finish.
• Project planning.
• Specifying technical components.
• Overseeing builds.
• Liaise with customers & provide updates.
• Ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with company QHSE systems.
• Ensuring all relevant standards are always followed to facilitate safe and effective operations.
• Ensuring technical integrity for all project work.
• Assisting with project pricing.

Experience / Qualifications:
Essential:
• Previous experience in a similar role, within a workshop / manufacturing environment.
• SolidWorks experience
• Previous work experience in a SME
• Minimum HND in Engineering
• Driving Licence
