now in store 14yr Old Yellow Submarine III 🥃💛 the third release of their series ‘the Whisky of Mass Distinction’. Bruichladdich’s Yellow Submarine story began in 2005, when an Islay fisherman found a small, bright yellow Ministry of Defence submarine off the coast of Islay and brought it to shore. To commemorate the event, Bruichladdich released Whisky of Mass Distinction II “Yellow Submarine”.

Aged for 14 years in 75% first fill bourbon casks and 25% French red wine casks, expect honey oats and shortbread, crème brûlée, crisp apple and a touch of coastal salt, with a long and lingering finish from this unpeated whisky sitting at 54.2% ABV.

just landed at Inverness Whisky🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Caledonia 12 Yr Old, a special release selected by legendary songwriter Dougie Maclean named after his most famous song, Caledonia. Fully matured in Oloroso Sherry Casks and 46 % ABV, think dark fruit cake notes and a surprisingly dry finish.

in store now from 🥃 7 bottles from their Distilleries of Great Britain and Ireland range, inspired by a 1920’s publication of the same name where 124 distilleries were visited, surveyed and photographed. A century on many of these distilleries are still producing whisky, and this range celebrated the spirits still being produced.

Our fave is the Aberlour 11yr Old 2014, finished in first fill Oloroso Sherry Butt casks for 24 months and presented at a tasty 52.3%

Proof you don’t have to spend big to drink good whisky Trade Mark “X” Batch 2 (57.1% ABV)

First created in 1854, James Eadie’s Trademark X was brought back to life over 70 years after it disappeared, recreated using a rare pre-war bottle. The modern blend amps up the sherry to replicate the original 19th century recipe using a combination of first fill & refill Oloroso hogsheads.

For a dram steeped in so much history you’d expect a higher price tag but you can grab a bottle from us for just £40! Available in store now🥃

putting the spotlight on something a bit different🥃 MWR is a blend of malts from the legendary Ichiro Akuto. This dram features whisky matured in Mizunara, a Japanese oak, giving it a unique fragrance similar to incense. Mizunara is only available to the industry in limited amounts, making this bottle very special indeed (why we only have two left in stock!)
