What a busy week, starting with Nairn Show on Saturday where Millie was over the moon to win Champion young handler (under 10) making all of her summer holiday ‘sheep practice’ worthwhile. Then onto the Black Isle Show on Thursday where Ella’s ewe lamb ‘Druid Temple Miss Bethany’ was Breed Champion ⭐️
Finished off with a fine trip down to Carlisle where I was delighted to come away with two new lads: Janetstown Laird and Hayberries Lazarus. Looking forward to the year ahead and seeing what they add💪🏻

Another lovely ewe lamb out of Killymallaght Foxtrot. This old girl rarely gets it wrong! Pictured here at 2 days old (white socks at back buried in straw). Sired by a homebred tup lamb. We’re still torn between whether she’s going to be Mambo or Macarena🙈😂

Great day at Black Isle Show yesterday with a triplet ewe lamb making reserve champion. Ella was delighted (understatement 🙈) and is already excited for her next show but thankfully, for her poor aunty with blood-shot eyes from lack of sleep and blistered hands from clipping, that’s our short show season over for this year!

Well done to Carrie with her Champion gimmer and big thanks to David Miskelly for judging.
