Great day at Black Isle Show yesterday with a triplet ewe lamb making reserve champion. Ella was delighted (understatement 🙈) and is already excited for her next show but thankfully, for her poor aunty with blood-shot eyes from lack of sleep and blistered hands from clipping, that’s our short show season over for this year!

Well done to Carrie with her Champion gimmer and big thanks to David Miskelly for judging.

Best of luck to everyone buying and selling at Carlisle today!

Joyfield Bethany, last to lamb and looking a bit old now. The last 6 to lamb all had ewe lambs only so for the first time ever finished with more than twice as many ewes as tups 🙌🏼 Bit of a surplus now though so once lockdown is over looking at selling a couple of ewes (not this one) with single ewe lambs at foot (all well marked and registered).
