We are on the lookout for a Hardworking Mature professional individual to join our team here at our very busy wee chippy!!!

Duties will include all aspects of the business including Counter work, Serving Customers , Frying and cleaning.

This opportunity could lead to a supervisory/ management position.

Looking at 25-30 hours per week however this is negotiable as is the salary for the right person!!

Hi folks ❤️

Thank you so much for all the lovely messages, good wishes and continued support. It really does mean the world.

I’m hoping to have an update on my health issues and potential treatment very soon. Everything seems to take an absolute age!!! 🙄😂

For now, outside catering is still very much available, but the shop will remain closed while I get myself sorted.

There are also some very exciting plans in the pipeline which I just know you’re going to love. 👀✨

I don’t like cryptic posts 😂, but I just want to reassure everyone that we WILL be reopening the shop. ❤️

Closing was a really difficult decision, but being such a small business, it made the most sense. It has taken away the stress of constantly trying to find cover and has meant I haven’t had to be there every single day — although I clearly haven’t been sitting around doing nothing! 😂

I’ve still been in making around 40 Scotch Eggs a day, preparing outside catering and catering at a local estate.

I honestly couldn’t have managed this without the incredible support from Dave, Emma and Calvin and the boys at Ness Side Catering Co, along with Scott, Justyna and Steve down at Ness Side Estate. I’m also so grateful for the very kind offers of help from other local businesses and complete strangers. It has been genuinely overwhelming in the loveliest way. ❤️

So, for now, bear with me, keep your fingers crossed for some good news and watch this space…

And yes… there are a few things coming that I think you’re going to LOVE! 👀😂

….. That’s NOT my breathing …. It’s my constant companion who doesn’t let me out of her sight 🐶

Delivery to UHI on Wednesday for their Christmas Party 2025🎄

A lovely little Afternoon Tea and bottle of fizz delivered to celebrate a wedding the recipients were unable to attend 🥂

And a delivery to a little girl to help celebrate her 6th birthday. Thats 6 years the family have been celebrating with a Hampers and Champers buffet 6️⃣ 🥳

And a little note for y’all 😘

I’ve been rethinking how I’m working lately.

When everything feels urgent — the endless prep lists, shopping, pre-orders, cooking, cleaning, the emails, not to mention family and friends, it can quickly become overwhelming and if I’m honest, when that happens it’s sometimes easier to avoid the tasks altogether…… clean the kitchen, tidy the garden, even clear out the garage - anything but the job in hand. know I won’t be the only one who feels like this.

It’s been full speed ahead since Covid - and while I’m so grateful that business has been booming, it’s time to slow things down a touch and make life more manageable….. third time lucky 😂

With that in mind, I’m making a few changes to how I work.

The shop will be open Fridays for the time being.

You can pre-order any of your favourites such as Scotch Eggs, Sausage Rolls, Buddha Bowls for collection daily from Ness Side Catering - just send me a dm. I will be working away on a regular basis

All the services I offer through Am Bothan and Hampers and Champers will still be available, but with a more structured and focused approach behind the scenes.

This means a more polished, efficient and stress-free service, allowing me to deliver a seamless experience whether it’s a sharing box for two, a large event or a lunch.
